NO FLIGHTS FROM TLC MARKETING / INTERCASINO PROMO

I was FINALLY able to speak to the person in charge at TLC Marketing tonight, and unfortunately the news is bad.According to TLC Marketing no one is able to redeem their flights over a public holiday as outlined in their T&C. Now to me this would mean I can't choose to fly on a public holiday ... not to TLC. You can't take a holiday over any period which INCLUDES a public holiday in either Australia or the United States.And if that is not restrictive enough, if you do manage to find a window of opportunity to fly, it then depends on seasonal and promotional availability.When I asked them to nominate a 4 week period with dates that I could fly - that didn't coincide with either an Australian or US Public Holiday, that didn't conflict with seasonal or promotional lock out dates, and would have availability she conceeded that it would be next to impossible.FUCK YOU TLC.

Play them at there own game....book a flight over and back on the same day....just dont use the return leg and at least you got one way for free...Blocker.

Actually, I thought about booking a flight from June 16th - July 3rd, HOWEVER when you clear immigration they record your departure date - so therefore I would have to answer some questions when I tried to depart 8 days later. Any thoughts on this ??

You know what they say about things that sound 2 good to be true...Blocker your suggestion wouldn't really work as 1 way international airfares are almost exactly the same price as the return airfares.

luckyshades,as long as you within the time of the visa they wont care. people change return travel plans all the time.

Cheers Gaz, I just looked up one way flights from the US anyway, and as a previous poster mentioned I wouldn't really be saving anything.I would have to pay the $400 for the TLC Marketing costs + $250 to fly Vegas to SF / LA + $1600 for the one way flight back to Sydney so it works out the same.

Look if you read the T&C's that come with the voucher all that hard work of finding that it cant be redeemed over a public holiday. A bit sketchy but seems straight,but on the other hand.I emailed Interscam, about how many additional people you can bring 3days ago. There response was that they will get back to me as soon as they know.... Now what gets me is why would they need to check shouldnt they know all the finer details of this promo if they were to run this legit. Still no answerT&C's 5.All outbound travel must be taken between 01/06/08-31/03/09. Customers can book flights ……… The offer cannot be redeemed over any public holiday.[i]

Frogga, I don't disagree with what you are saying, but I would bring up 2 things.Firstly, the phrase "cannot be redeemed over ..." is highly ambiguous. I'm sure if you surveyed 100 people95 would see that as meaning you can fly on a public holiday.Secondly, this T&C was NEVER included in any of the ones InterCasino listed when players signed up for this promo.And thirdly, even if you DO choose dates that don't coincide with any public holiday, TLC are still likely to turn around and say that you can't fly due to some sort of travel lock out period.TLC rely on the fact that by the time people realise how difficult it is to book flights it'sa) too late and they missed the promo; orb) give up.It will be interesting to see how many PNWers go ahead and do the legwork to get their free flights. Not very many I bet.
