Default WSOP documentry involving Joe Hachem

Director Gil Cates Jr. is bringing a documentary on the World Series of Poker to the bigscreen.

"Pass the Sugar," which marks Cates' sixth helming outing, is being financed by Aussie production company Stack Exchange.

Cates' most recent dramatic feature, "Deal," was released by MGM. "Sugar" focuses on the nine players who made the 2005 World Series of Poker final table and the eventual winner, Australian "Diamond" Joe Hachem, who captured the largest prize ever awarded in a single poker tournament at the time.

"Sugar" also will feature interviews with Jennifer Tilly, Jose Canseco and other celeb cardplayers.

Tony Hachem and Caitlin Murney are producing.
I'm curious what the market for this is..

Who is this Tony "Diamomd" Hachem I keep hearing about?
Has he won something big recently that I have not heard about?
What exactly is he "famous" for?

Since when is Joe Hachem tagged 'Diamond'?

I had never heard that one before...

In theory this sounds promising, but practically all poker movies do before they come out...

Tony recently came 2nd in the New Zealand Poker Championships, he also cashed in the ME last year and 1 event at this years WSOP.

He also writes a column in bluff, but is mostly famous for being Joe's brother, however he is trying to steer away from that tag.

    LOL good ol' JB.

A friend of mine had a piece of him in the NZ 2nd place, and he was never paid.

    Stand up guy Mr JB.
How long can he stand in Joe's shadow?
Unless Carmen Electra calls for an emergency titty fuck, don't answer.
