Hello All,

Sorry i have been remiss and not included an update for a while.

Registrations for the Main Event of the Western Classic Poker Championships are progressing well with approximately $100,000 in the prize pool already and still 5 weeks left to go.

Day 1B (Friday 21/11) is filling up fast so if this is your preferred start date, now is the time to register to ensure a position in WA's largest prizemoney Poker Tournament.

Once Day 1B fills up at 100 entrants, all other Main Event registrations will need to start on Day 1A (Thur 20/11).

There are officially five satellites left to qualify for the Main Event, though extra satellites will be available.

Stay tuned for further developments.

Please contact me if you have any queries.

Hi Al,

The structure for the $270 satellites ($250 + $20) are as follows -

Start Stack - $3000
Blind Level increments - 30 Minutes
Blind Levels
25/50
50/100
75/150
100/200
200/400
300/600
500/1000
700/1400
1000/2000
1500/3000 etc etc

1 in 10 will qualify through to the Main Event. Any balance will be paid as prizemoney to the next available place getter.
My guess is about 60 runners for tonight's Satellite.

Please contact me if you have any queries.

Im coming down tonight to have another crack at the ME Sat. Heres hoping I can get past the bubble this time . Bear, will I be safe if I come down say 5:30 to register? Otherwise Ill pop down right now. But if you are 100% sure that it won't filll (based on previous judgements of the 270 sats) then I will come down later.
