Hello All,

With four days to go til our Main Event starts, we have just completed our last calendar satellite event and have over 100 entrants registered for the $2500 No Limit Holdem Main Event starting Thursday 20 Nov (+$230,000 prizepool).

We envisage a targeted 130 players ($300,000 prizepool)

All Main Event entries will receive a registration gift prior to commencement of play.

$250 SITNGO Qualifiers (1 person wins a seat in the Main Event) are still available on demand and are the only option left apart from direct buyins.
These SITNGO's are commission free and feature $4k start stacks and 10 minute blind levels.

Accommodation discounts are still available as per the above post.

Please contact me if you have any queries as time is running out.

Dont forget the lead up events with the $120 Pot Limit Omaha with $100 Rebuys on Tues 18th at 6.30pm and the $330 No Limit Holdem Freezeout on Wed 19th at 6.30pm with cash prizes and trophies on offer.

Hi all,

I am playing in the 330NL cash tourney tonight. Couple of questions:-

Anyone know the blinds/startinfg stacks for this?
Anyone know how many players will be playing?

Also - whats the dress code at Burswood? Can you wear shorts / sunnies / caps etc?

Cheers!!

Thanks Karl - it was fun to write something when asked to preview the tournament! If you want to catch me tonight, I'd recommend you try and get there as close to 6.30pm as possible, I'm anticipating busting within the first level by overplaying my pair-draw on the turn. Table three, seat six will represent max(imum) value in tonight's event!

Sage: Shorts are usually a no-no if entering cas in "evening" but if you go in during day, I don't think they're too fussed. Caps and sunnies are ok to wear in poker parlour but bouncers are likely to make you take them off at entry, so it's usually easier just to walk in with them in your hands and put them on when you get to poker parlour.

Max - Ill be there a bit earlier - Ill be railling you too so that means ill be there quickly too so my mrs can come and get me after her Netball/Team building exercise game. You definitely *not* playing the ME?

Edit: I just asked the Mrs for permission to play tonight . I started off by saying "I love you" .... she says "What did you do?"... then I said "you look beautiful today"....... "WHAT HAVE YOU DONE".... ."Can I play the 330 tonight? Pleeeeeeeeeeaaaase" . "NO!" . She has given me permission to come down tonight though . Her last words were "If you play tonight Ill be very disappointed" .

Bear - will the "no hoodies" rule be relaxed the deeper into the tournie? Im a tellbox so if I go deep ill need to hide the hairs on the back of my neck that stand up on end when I get the bullets.
