    Default Anything but Hold 'Em

Anyone else ever get an insatiable itch to play some Eights Or Better? 7 Card Stud? Hell, even Razz? I do. It's embarrassing, how do you explain to all the cool kids who play Hold 'Em that you've got an unnatural hankering for some Razz? People look at you like you're some sort of deviant.

So, anyone know any venues where you can play something other than Hold 'Em?

Stop looking at me like that...

Hi ,She Gave Me The Jack,
It is a natural progression to move to next level.
Texas is a game for learners and new "poker "players.
It is obvious that you are tired of this kids game and want to develop your poker skills by learning another,of many forms of poker.

Believe me,once you learn another game, you will not want to play Texas again.

    Hey JK,

Out of curiosity, what's your rationale behind labeling hold'em a kid's game? As a youngster, I started playing five-card draw and while I had fun playing that strain of poker, I find hold'em an infinitely more stimulating game. Stud has its moments and PLO is occasionally amusing, but NLHE is what I enjoy the most.

    cheers

no game involving money is a kids game... especially nlhe.

i would like to play 7 card stud and razz. my first ever tournament at crown was a 7 card stud event, 38 players, $50 entry... those were the days.

im trying to get my head around hi/lo omaha, which i think that is a great game.

there was talk of setting up a horse cash game at crown.
    it still might happen.

there is supposed to be a dealers choice $2/$5 plo, pl hi/lo, nlhe, at crown on thursdays, but it rarely gets up nowadays.

Nick, you are an idiotic, narrow minded, imbecile if you believe that propaganda about Jewish people controlling the industry. Like it makes a fucking difference what nationality/religion they are.

Get your head out of your arse. It's people like you that are what's wrong with this world.

AceHighWine,a good response in a nicest possible way.
    I was only being provocative.
My favourite tournaments are N/L Texas but for cash,I prefer High/Low games.
    Just my personal choice.

I find holdem pretty boring too. There are interesting situations, sometimes, but I would rather play anything else.

I would rather play badugi/2-7 draw/split games, anything. I don't think razz by itself is a very good game, but it is okay in the mix because it tilts people.
