Default Poker at the Adelaide Casino

For all those interested.Spoke to the girls at the Action desk yesterday said they had received an email that the Poker room will run Wednesday through to Saturday with the following start times:Wed/Thu 7pm - 4amFri/Sat 8pm - 6amAsked the girls if they knew when it would start said that it wasn't confirmed but they had heard the 20th. Spoke to one of the pit bosses who rang upstairs and confirmed the 20th as the start date. Also while speaking to the girls they suggested I put my name down on the contact list so they could call me when the poker room opens, as they were pulling out the contact list(which had about 30 names) we saw a small stack of application forms with the heading Skycity Adelaide No-Limit Texas Hold'em Tournament, with a date 20/7/2005 and an entry fee of $65. They hadn't heard anything about a tournament and were surprised to find the application forms. They suggested I come back this weekend as they should have some more concrete information. It also looks like the poker area will be located upstairs just before the Sports bar (not in the party pit section) as there was an empty section cut off to the public which looks like it could fit 6 tables, though i havn't confirmed this.

Are they going to put that miserable bugger Brian in charge of watching the tables again? I only ever saw him smile once, but then old ladies don't trip over on their faces every day...
