ChipMeUp is very excited to launch a brand new Fantasy Poker league for the World Series of Poker. There are some amazing prizes up for grabs, including an Aussie Millions package worth $12,500 and a PokerNews Cup package.

This fantasy league allows you to choose a team of well known poker players and track their performance over the World Series Events. If your team out-performs everyone else's team you'll take down the massive prize. The Fantasy system we are running is very simple to start with, but we'll be looking to improve and expand on it for the future.

You can enter in the Amateur league once for free or unlimited entries into the Pro league for $10 (that's where you get the big prizes).

Also, if you don't quite do well enough to come first, we have loads of prizes for runners-up.

I just wrote an article on this thing which should be on the homepage soon.

I also just set up a team, now as you would expect my team is pretty lol. I basicaly just tried to pick Dario Minieri 20 times but they wouldn't let me.

Who is doing this?

What are your teams like? Is there some kind of optimal strategy people are using to pick their teams or are they just picking their favourite players?

Either way should be fun and it will give us poor people something to do whilst the ballas are 'ballaring' it up in Vegas.

Whaaaat? Jay Kinkade is not on the list. Pretty sure he's gunning for some results this year...

I may just be tired but I don't see a way of adding players to the list?

*Oh, and I see that if you have identical teams in identical order the one that was created first wins. There goes my plan to duplicate every single team ><

Not sure what happens if this occurs accidentally though? And I don't understand why some people are picking less than 20 players, although maybe they are planning to go back and add people later.
