How do you become one of those pokernews reporters?

Hey forumites,

I am just curious as to what it takes to become one of those pokernews reporters that feed live updates from the Main event and such.

Do they get paid?
Alot of them seem to be Australian which is good.
I love watching Poker more than playing it and follow the big name goss around like a poker version of Womans Day.

Anyone have any knowledge on this?

Yes they get paid.

Pretty sure Heath (Tassie Devil) is in charge of it in aus.

It's a GREAT job - you get to travel the world, make friends everywhere . . . but there is one downside . . .

. . . you get shipped off to Lebanon to cover some random tourney . . . with an American!!!

I promise you it's a great job. It's very hard work with long hours but its rare for people to be able to find a job that they love and are passionate about.

Also as much as one enjoys the occasional cuddle from Ali, Duckworth is far more comfortable sleeping with the same gender...that's why we're sending him to Lebanon.

My guess is that you have to play more poker than PUB FREE ROLLS to understand the game - so that counts you out

EOT/
