New FTP Update

Still no good more than 8 hours later, not even able to re-install!
Let's see what FTP support has to say - with luck I'll get a response next week!

Anyone still having trouble getting it downloaded and installed? I got around it by using an older FullTiltSetup.exe I still had hanging around. I had to right click it and run as admin and it installed and updated no problem. A mate used the same file I did and it worked without having to force run as admin.

I've just tried to load up FT again, and at the moment all it is doing once I click OK to their notification that there is ANOTHER software update to install is shut down.
Is anyone else still getting this? I got their upgrade from earlier in the week through okay.

I had this problem too. I uninstalled FTP. Then switched User Account Control off in Vista. Re-downloaded and installed FTP. Switched UAC back on and no problem since.

It was exactly what I ended up doing in order to get back online (i'd still be waiting for FTP support otherwise). Mind you, with the way things went, I probably shouldn't have bothered...
