Default Question about the Crown Casino

When I was down at the Crown in January they had two games of NL Hold Em going on there was the 40/80 $1/2 and the 100+ $2.5/5. I played the 40/80 $1/2 and this was on a thursday night if I remember correctly and then I came back the next day in the morning and played the 40/80 $1/2 again.

My question is, does the Crown always have the 40/80 $1/2 running every day and every night? also do the tables actually ever stop because up here on the Gold Coast at Conrad Jupiters the Hold Em games stop after about 3am I think and my last question is how busy is the poker room on a friday/saturday night, as in how long would I have to wait to get on the 40/80 $1/2 table.

    thanks in advance.

The $40 -$80 buy in 1/2 game runs from Monday to Thursday only. The Crown poker room has tables running 24/7 except for 12 hours on Anzac day I think.

the wait for a 2/3 table on a Friday Saturday night is never too long, at max maybe 30 mins at times, depending what time of the night as they do try to reduce the number of tables running later in the night

so I'm guessing you must play there quite a bit huh? when I was down there I saw basically the same players at the table the very next day and they just basically throw away their money its insane but I really do like the set up there and hope to be down there within the next month.

I came down in January this year for the Australian Open (tennis) and was walking through the city one day with one of my friends and we stumbled across the poker room and thought we would have a go. It was like three days after the Aussie Millions finished. I won like 200 from those 1/2, 2/3 tables I don't think that is that great winnings but I was happy with it.

Well I'm not that big of a tournament player at this point in time because I only just started studying full time at University so most of my money goes into that, I would like to get into tournaments but I need to get a good bank roll so for now I'll just stick to free rolls on the gold coast ie. APL.

I might be coming back this month (not sure of the dates) but I'm really looking forward to playing those 1/2 2/3 games again because I really enjoyed them last time. I'm definetly going to be there in January again so I'm looking to maybe enter a couple of lil tournaments there while the Aussie Millions is on but mostly I'll stick to the 1/2 2/3.

I wonder if they would with hold me from playing the Victorian Championships because I'm from Queensland, although I was born in Melbourne so thats doubtful but still I wonder if they would stop one of my friends.
