PokerNetwork $1,100 Live vs Online Invitational

On September 29th/30th as part of the week-long PokerNews Cup series at Melbourne's Crown Casino, PokerNetwork will be hosting a very special $1,100 Live vs Online Challenge. 16 players will represent each team in a true test of poker's new versus old school.

Note that each player is responsible for the $1,100 buy-in.

EVENT FORMAT
Format for this event is as follows:

Tuesday 29th Sept - 12:10pm - Round 1 Heads Up

This will essentially be a 32 man heads up tournament, with points and a portion of the prizemoney awarded depending on results. The draws for each round will be conducted so that as much as is possible, there will be a member from each opposing team in each match-up.

Wednesday 30th Sept - 12:10pm - Round 2 Shootout

This will be an 8 handed shootout, with the top 2 players from each table progressing through to the final table (taking their chips through). Points and prizemoney will be awarded depending on finishing position.

Guys, there is room for some flexibility here. We decided to initially go with 10 and 6, as we weren't sure how many players would be available. If all of the top 16 guys said "yes" then we would certainly consider that as an option. If we get good support then we can make it 12/4 or 14/2. So it's up to you guys - if you want to support this event then announce your availability to play.

pretty sure I was 27th like 3 months ago...then kinda stopped grinding online so my ranking slipped...oh and I suck at poker so that might also be a factor
