Home Setups - Multiple Moniters

Hi Guys - been trolling here for a month or two getting valuable hints and slowly improving my cowboy of a game.

Anyway, im rearranging the home office with on thing in mind...tailoring for Optimal online poker. I want to setup 2 or 3 LCD screens over a PC setup on ADSL 2. I currently use a macbook pro on Vodafone's 3G network...and it struggles now and then withn 5+ games running in parallel. It cost me quite a bit of cash last week so i'm now on a mission.

I can comfortbaly setup 2 screens but would like a third to manage poker forums, IM, browsing etc etc. Or should i go four?

How many screens do you guys use?
How many tables per screen?
Widescreen or square?
Cascade? Tile?
Upgraded Video card or something else?

Any other advice that you could give me to achieve the ultimate home poker setup would be awesome

What are you new desktop specs?

4-6gb ddr2/3 memory will be fine, a 512mb/1gb gpu is sufficent aswell.

How many table do you plain on playing at once, as i can fit 12 tables on my 24" monitor as it is

2 or 3 monitors omg thats a shit load of tables at once.

Just go 2 monitors one for tables and the other for forum browsing

Sorry to hijack the thread but are people mainly using desktops or laptops for there online poker fix

Mines a desktop-
Intel e8400 cpu
4gb ddr3 ram
512mb nvidia 9600gt graphics card
1tb hard drive
blu ray player
24" full hd benq monitor
windows vista home premium o/s

but this pc about 6mths ago and was my first pc build up aswell, happy as with it-along a 30" monitor does sound mighty sweet but a 32" lg lcd tv used as my monitor would be insane.

i connect my laptop to my 52' lcd TV layout you tables on the lcd and have the poker lobby up on the laptop screen

Second monitor for everything other than tables, but I cannot play tables on multiple screens, I just miss too much and sometimes time out.

You can play at least 40 tables on one 24" monitor

yeh ive done this, wasnt as good as i thought it would be, but kinda fun if not playing many tables
