Thank you for your prompt response Thkcduckworth. Much appreciated.
Would anybody else who uses PKR like to put forward their thoughts??
- Luck of the draw & player observation will always rule the day...
- For every strategy employed there is a counter strategy to balance...
PKR is to slow if you want to grind out a ton of hands....but at 50/1 NL 1/2nl prob easier than most sites as no one has tracking software and the good players who know how to use the stats will have a lot less information to use against you. Prob a good site to build a roll if you are not worried about doing it slowly.
Some bugs which they may have fixed but when I played if you hit fold if you have something unchecked in options even if no has bet your hand is folded without a warning. I did this once with the nuts accidently when meaning to check raise. Also people were able to have a disc protect and people were abusing this ( I think it has been fixed now)
I did play a lot on there but the slowness frustrates me and I dont play on there anymore but admitelly it was easier money compared to FT and stars. BUt being able to play more hands quicker on the majors probably balances this out if you are a winning player.
PKR is so slow. Seems they are more interested in what the avatars are doing than the actual game.
If ur a social player, then it would be fun to play on. I'm playing poker for the money, not graphics so i got really annoyed with how slow it is as well as every second muppet's avatar carrying on.
still waiting for berky's questions

Hi Tim,
First of all I just wanted to say that I'm a big fan. It's been inspiring watching you work and blog your way from relative obscurity to the household name you now are in Australian poker.
That being said, I wonder if i might take up a moment of your time and have you settle a debate between myself and a friend.
He believes that the first image below bares the greater resemblance to yourself whereas I favour the latter. What do you think?
Thank you in advance and gl with the job hunt.

And. Felix. Is. BAAAACCCCKKKK!!
so much love
pz to all
It is a tough one Felix.
Although I would prefer to resemble E.Honda more, it is obvious that I don't replicate his rippling physique or power to unleash the Hundred Hand Slap.
As for Kim Jong-il . . . I don't believe that I resemble an egotistical dictator, but we do share an enjoyment for basketball.
Honestly . . . i'll take Edmond Honda . . . but I think this dude is more suitable
