Forget game selection, bankroll management etc. These are pretend games.
It does not matter who wins.Money is not involved, only publicity and advertizing matters.
I have good information from reliable sources that three of the best known names, mentioned above, are all broke or close to it.Including Ivey.

Unless you release your sources, you're wasting your time.

i'm fairly sure Isildur1 does not have 100% of his action in his most recent sessions.

putting most of your bankroll on the line in a PLO game is dumb. doing it in HU PLO is beyond dumb.

The comments in JK's post might be plausible, but to know for sure would entail these people were
free to play elsewhere on other sites and not constrained by their contracts.

Only then would you be able to tell if they really did have the cash to throw around as they do.

Since their sponsorship entails exclusivity on FTP, i highly doubt we'll ever discover the "real" truth.

If all that is accomplished is marketing and entertainment value, is it really hurting anyone?

Pretty sure they can still play on other sites, but obv the bigger games run on Tilt. Not to mention the rakeback etc they get.

I could be wrong, but I've seen Brian Townsend & Durrrrr play on stars. BT actually talks about it in his blog a while ago.

Has anyone seen durrrr play on Stars since he became an FTP pro though? Or even since WCOOP last year for that matter?

I think there's a difference between being on Team Full Tilt and being a Red Pro.

I've seen Mark Vos and other Red Pros playing on Stars, but you never see anyone on Team Full Tilt.
