DefaultMy Journey At The 2007 WSOP

Following QUEEN-BEE's call out to PokerNetwork members to blog about their poker road from beginning till now, I managed to discover my blogs that I posted on my now obsolete-MySpace account from when I played the 2007 WSOP Main Event.

Some of you probably don't care, but some might enjoy the read detailing my journey to Las Vegas as a relative poker noob.

I found some of what went on interesting and I hope you do too.

(and if you do, go vote for my blog here so I can win whatever is on offer)

DefaultRe: My Journey At The 2007 WSOP

Day 1

What a day to leave Melbourne! Heading from a rain-heavy and flood damaged Australia to the bright lights and soaring temperatures of the Las Vegas desert. The day started with me packing at 2am, since I had AGAIN fallen asleep on my couch after another bball win. After packing I was in bed by 3 for a huge 3 1/2 hours sleep. I get a call from Aleks at 5:30 or so, just checking if it was 6 for the pick-up, I answered yes and went back to sleep while he returned to the felt at Crown.

Both Alek and Lucas came to drive me to the airport – which was filled with the crucial hands of the nightshift. Traffic was ridiculously chaotic for this time of the morning on our way to Tullamarine. As we were no less then a K from the airport Alek decided to forget about using his breaks and slammed into the rear of this little Hyundai Excel. What a donkey! With no damage done we checked in and proceeded to Maccas for a healthy breakfast.

As I boarded QF 179 for my 9-hour flight to Narita I sat down to watch half a season of 2 1/2 Men, played some Tetris and mini-golf, ate some teriyaki chicken and rice (and I actually ate the salad and vegies as well!) until I found what I was really looking for . . . the movie Lucky You.

Since Huck’s wild swings are so typical of mine I thought I better get an insight on how I should tackle my World Series campaign. After watching such and inspirational / degenerate / banana of a movie I put on Blades of Glory with Will Ferrell – even with its bad reviews it was quite a funny flick.

A dinner of udon noodles and chicken was served and only another 3 1/2 hours were left! Feeling yuk, legs tired and this old European couple annoying me from behind, it was time for one more movie. I switched on the epic Gladiator only to fall asleep straight after the Battle of Germania. I woke up to, “my name is Maximus Decimus Meridius, commander of the Armies of the North . . . father to a murdered son, husband to a murdered wife, and I will have my vengeance in this life or the next” – one of the greatest movie lines ever.

Once arriving in Narita I found out that it’s a 90-minute train ride to Tokyo, so I decided to scrap my plans of cruising the streets of Tokyo until tomorrow. Once I got to my room I passed out on my super-comfy bed for the night.

DefaultRe: My Journey At The 2007 WSOP

Day 2a

I’m up at 6:30am so I can get the most out of the day. I shower and pack, and then head down for a 2000 Yen buffet breakfast. I checked out and was on the bus back to the airport so I could catch a train into Tokyo.

After finally finding an information kiosk and being provided with some understandable instructions I bought my ticket. I wondered round aimlessly trying to look like I knew what I was doing but secretly was looking for where the hell my train would leave from!

I watched 4 trains come and go exactly on time, unlike Melbourne’s crappy service! When my train finally started rolling in I went to the platform captain to check if it was the right one. “No, no, wrong one, must go to number 1, quick, run” and he started bolting the end of the platform. “Number 1! Number 1!” he told me again, and then pointed towards the end of the train as I got on.

After stressing out for a minute and finding a comfy seat with a good view, the ticket inspector came along. I passed him my ticket, “No, no, number 1” and pointed back up the train. Right now I’m on super donkey tilt, but finally understand what they were getting at. They both meant carriage 1, and I was in carriage 7. So I walked up to the right carriage, FINALLY, and take my seat.

As a gaze out the window at the town of Narita it seems so lush and spacious, but at times there are cramped industrial areas, followed by temple-inspired houses and then acres of trees and fields – I only wish I could explore this town a little more.

I arrive in Tokyo to be greeted by thousands of people at the Tokyo train station. I head outside to find out that I’ve arrived in the Tokyo business district. I stroll round all the giant towers filled with Japanese businessmen and woman before I stumble across the Wadakura Fountain Park. I take some photos of this semi-tranquil place littered with trees and flowing water, nestled between busy Tokyo streets.

Within an hour of getting off the train, I’m back on my to Narita to jump on the plane to Los Angeles. Once checked in at Narita Airport I head upstairs to search for some late lunch and really feel like having some Japanese. I check all the restaurants their and decide on this café-type one. I sit down and go order some Yakitori and fried chicken. I must admit, it was better then anything version I’ve had back in Australia – even for airport food! I make my first purchase of a little sumo-wrestler doll for my backpack and head into the main terminal.

I check my MySpace and email before boarding American Airlines flight 170 where I sleep most of the flight – except for the movie ‘Shooter’ which I watched (highly recommend it). Well tomorrow I’ll be in the states, ready to hit the tables of Las Vegas.

DefaultRe: My Journey At The 2007 WSOP

Day 2b

To me the day begins when I get off the plane in Los Angeles. I pass through immigration and catch a bus to the other terminal to check in for my flight to Las Vegas. After checking in I grab some Maccas and go for a walk through the airport. As I stroll round I notice so many pretty ladies as well as the typical American stereotypes. The middle aged black ladies from the south, with their loud booming voices, fancy nails and big sunnies. The college kids with their school hoodies and iPods – most likely on their way home for Independence Day. The black guys with their baggy jeans, huge fitting t-shirts and baseball caps.

Once I’m on the United Airways flight I’m asleep before we get off the ground and don’t wake up until we land. SO TIRED!! Once in Las Vegas, I walk past about 60 slot machines before picking up my luggage, then pass another 20 or so on my to the taxi zone. Once there I jump in line, and then notice that I’m standing in front of what I reckon are 2 pornstars – gorgeous girls, great bodies and just this vibe that they are at a minimum in that kind of industry. As I stare from behind my shades, my taxi rolls up and I head off to Harrah’s.

Once checked in I head straight up to my room and unpack my suitcase – emptying everything while watching sportscenter and the NBA draft report. I decide that I should head down to the Harrah’s poker room to suss out the action, and within half an hour of arriving in Vegas I’m on a table – so typical of a poker degenerate!!

I play for a little, finishing down like $70 and decide to head down the strip for a walk. I get to the Venetian and head inside and find the poker room. It’s a massive poker room, really elegant and professional in how they run the joint. I walk round it for a little bit where I eventually bump into Julian Powell – a $2-5 and $5-10 player from Crown. We chat for a while about he’s been up to etc, and then we both see Tony Hachem. We keep chatting and walk over to this place for lunch, where Juls heads up to his room and Tony goes and has lunch with his brother.

I depart the Venetian and head over to the Mirage hotel for a look round. I stroll in and find the smallish poker room. I eventually work out how to get on a table and put my name on the $1-2 list. I play like a rock for a few hours I’m up a massive 7 bucks, feeling exhausted and sore from sitting and sleeping heaps in the last few days I decide to head back to my room. I jump on the net for a while before crashing in my bed ready for tomorrow’s action.

DefaultRe: My Journey At The 2007 WSOP

Day 3

I started the day by getting up late after a refreshing sleep in the comfy Harrah’s bed of room 764. Spent about 5 minutes trying to work out how to turn the shower on, nearly sought help from the cleaning lady’s, but eventually got it to work, got changed and headed downstairs.

Wasn’t feeling all too hungry, so I decided to just hit the felt of Harrah’s poker room for a quick session of $1-2. Cashed out about $130 up in a little over an hour and decided to vacate the poker room for a walk down the strip.

Stepped outside into the roaring Vegas heat of about 35 degrees and headed up the strip towards the Venetian. I headed inside to scope out the poker room and to see if Tony or Julian was there. With the tournament being in the early stages, there were minimal chances for me to jump on a cash table so I went for a stroll through the gaming floor. I stopped by the craps table for a look, and then got asked for I.D – showed by drivers licence, but was told it wasn’t enough, so I got kicked out! WTF! You can walk round the floor without being asked, but once you stop and watch (not even playing either) you get carded . . ? Are you serious??

Anyway, I decided to head to the Fashion Show Mall for a look at the shops and some lunch. A slice of pizza for lunch and then down to look at the stores. After looking round for a couple of hours I decided to leave, but with a few things in mind to buy when I head back – a sports jersey, some casual sneakers and a personalised poker hat (Alek – I need your help with ideas again).

I walk over to Treasure Island for a look round and then over to the Mirage again. As I’m walking over taking photos of TI, the Mirage and the strip my camera decided to go on major DONKEY TILT and refused to work for me – my ‘read’ is that the heat got to it, so I’ve decided to put it away for awhile.

Well I decide to jump on a $1-2 table at the Mirage for a while, and play pretty conservatively for a while. After about 3 hours of playing I got really bored and re-straddled a straddle. I announce, “if anyone snipers my straddle I’m just going to go all-in blind!” So what did someone do . . . obviously re-raise me, so I push my last $40 in and end up losing it to a set of kings.

Rebuy! Rebuy, but this time only for $100. I start playing better poker, making some great calls like calling this guy down with pocket 5’s on a board of Q, 10, 2, 8, 7 because I put him on Ace King – and was completely right. Then I shake ‘n’ baked these 2 people with Dave’s hand 7 4 off-suit and cashed out $257 – only $43 down for the Mirage session.

I leave the Mirage at about 10ish and head down the strip for a little walk before heading back to the room for a relax in front of the TV. I take some photos, see some interesting people and eventually head in the room where I switched on ESPN’s 2006 WSOP highlights and sit on my computer to write today’s blog. Tomorrow . . . we’ll see, but maybe a different poker room, or something non-poker related . . . pfft, doubt it!

DefaultRe: My Journey At The 2007 WSOP

Day 4

After a good nights sleep I decided to down walk down to the other end of the strip towards the Bellagio and Caesars. I entered Caesars’ huge gaming floor and finally stumbled upon the poker room. I put my name down on the $1-3 list, only to notice the huge stacks on the table. I decided that I only felt like playing a lower limit in the morning, so I decided to leave and cross the road to Bally’s

Once at Bally’s I picked some breaky of an apple Danish and headed to the 10-table poker room. After playing for about 3 hours without any real luck and down $300 I decided it was enough and headed through to the Paris Las Vegas. I looked at the shops and the casino, taking photos as I go, before stepping out into the 40-degree heat.

As I continued my stroll I found the Miracle Mile Shops, which contained a mad poker store, full of everything a home game set-up would possibly need. I found a small Mexican store for lunch where I ordered a chicken wrap and ate it while watching the tennis highlights.

I finished lunch and passed through Planet Hollywood casino quickly before heading back to Harrah’s. I was undecided whether or not to jump in the pool or hit the felt . . . being the poker degenerate I am I went down to the felt of the Harrah’s poker room.

Sitting there hoping to get the $300 back that I’m down for the day, I hit some of the maddest cards ever. I hit K 10 off (flop a king, but fold the turn), Ah, Qh (miss flop), Qd Qc (hit a set and get paid), 6c 6s (miss flop), Ad Ac (2 callers, take it down on the flop), Ad Qd (miss flop) and all of these within 8 hands and my stack up $100. The funny thing is that they then changed dealers and the first hand I get is 7d 2d . . .

After a few hours of playing I make a really bad lay down. I limp with Jh 9h and the flop comes 9d 9c 10c. The player on my right makes it $9, I re-raise to $25, and he makes it $75 and I flat call. A 3d comes on the turn and he leads out with $150 – with so many hands that can beat me I relinquish the pot and he shows 6s 9s – GOD DAMN IT!!

So I sit short-stacked for a while until I decide to straddle all-in for $45. The new player calls and the board comes 10, 8, 7, 4, 10 rainbow and he turns over Ace 10 for trips and top kicker. I slowly turn my cards over to reveal 5c 6c for a straight! Ha ha! So next hand I’m in the big blind and look down to see Jayne (or Sammi – haven’t decided about that yet), or in non-baker boy language, my hand 6 7 off suit. So I check my option and the flop comes 9, 8, 5 – I flopped the NUTS with my hand! Finally after naming it Jayne a month ago it hasn’t taken down a single pot. Anyway, some guy raises and I push all-in and he calls. He turns two-pair but the river bricks out. Only down 20 bucks for the session I leave and start to make dinner plans.

I walk down to the lobby and settle on Mings for some Chinese where I order Mongolian Beef and steamed rice. After having a quick dinner I head back to the poker room where I have no success – I have queens cracked, flushes cracked, straddles sniped and Jayne / Sammi cracked. I decide to head back upstairs to jump on the net and then call some family and friends. I’m looking forward to heading to the Rio tomorrow – hopefully I’ll get some money back from today’s shocker.

Day 5

Once I finally got up this morning at around 11am I went down to get some breaky. The reason why I slept in so late . . . I spent most of the night to about 3am talking on msn to my mates. Its crap when you don’t have a working mobile overseas because when you finally get chatting there is so much to tell them – especially when you have 5 friends online all asking questions about your holiday!

So today I decided to head over to the Rio to check if my registration was in order for the Main Event. I arrived at the Rio via taxi and walked into the convention centre where the WSOP was held. Once I checked out some of the WSOP gear for sale (I’ve already formed a list of what I’m going to buy when I’m back there) I finally found the poker room.

I went for a walk through the busy crowd of players and supporters where 3 events were being run – the $10,000 Omaha, the $1000 NL rebuy and the S.H.O.E event. After watching Nam Lee double up and then get knocked out I bumped into Brett Jones from Crown Casino. We chatted for a while and introduced me to Daniel who is the marketing manager from Crown. They both then invited me to a player’s party on July 4th at the Rio – finally I’m going to go out instead of playing poker and relaxing in my room.

While at the Rio I saw so many poker stars from Nam Lee, Chau Giang, Men Nguyen, Tony G, Scotty Nguyen, Patrik Antonius, Andy Bloch, Barry Greenstien, JC Tran, Billy the Croc, Jeff Madson, Bill Gazes, Greg Raymer, Doyle Brunson, Jamie Gold, Humburto Brenes, Scott Fischman, Chris ‘Jesus’ Ferguson, Eric Siedel, Gary Benson, Chip Jett, Marco Traniello, Max Prescatori, Eric Lindgren, Bill Singer, Chad Brown, Norman Chad, Mark Sief, Jesse James and Mel Judah – just to name a few!!

After finding out that I need my passport to register I decided to head to the Fashion Show Mall again to get my camera fixed and get a phone card so I can message back home. After learning that my camera is pretty much dead, I left and headed to try the Treasure Island poker room.

I bought in for $400 in the $1-3 game hoping to make some decent money to start the week on a positive note. After playing on a real good table for several hours I cashed out $600 and headed to the Mirage for a walk. Once at the Mirage I decided to play a $70 sit-n-go where I got knocked out in 3rd after this donkey of a player called my re-raise with King 7 off – bloody DONKEY FISH!!! Tilting pretty hard I decided to play roulette with the $100 in remaining chips I had – YES, I KNOW, when you’re tilting you don’t go play a game you can’t control, but I did it anyway! The end result was that I cashed out $290 on the roulette table making up for the donkey call that crappy American made to cost me $500 in the sit-n-go.

So I went home and jumped on msn and MySpace for a while, after chatting to Phi and some other mates, and leaving random comments to my MySpace friends I headed down to Starbucks and picked up an Ice Frappachino and 100 Grand chocolate bar. Once back upstairs I jumped in the shower, cleaned up my room, switched on ESPN and started writing this blog. Tomorrow I’m hoping to win some more money, register properly for the WSOP and visit a different casino. Also I’m going to look to solve this camera problem I have. Any ideas Amanda . . .

DefaultRe: My Journey At The 2007 WSOP

Day 6

I start the day by heading straight back to the Rio to take care of my Main Event registration. After getting everything sorted and getting my Total Rewards card I head into the WSOP shop to have another browse at all the official gear. I pick out a WSOP hat and 2 packs of the WSOP official poker-peep cards for myself, and 2 tournament player key rings for Michael and me. While scoping out the tables of the Limit event I see more pros that I didn’t see yesterday – Dewey Tomko, Joe Hachem, Joe Sebok, Freddy Deeb, Marcel Luske, Andy Black, Victor Ramdin, Shannon Elizabeth, Kathy Liebert and Steve Paul-Ambrose.

After browsing the Rio hotel and casino for a while I decide to jump back on the shuttle and head back to the Strip. I get off at Caesars and decide to head to the Bellagio for my first look. The poker room is really elegant and stunning with a screened off high stakes section where I see Shawn Sheik playing. I have a Colorado burger for lunch and then cruise through the rest of the hotel and gaming floor.

I head over to Planet Hollywood to play some poker and jump on a $1-2 table. With no massive hands to speak of I end up $73 and decide to play the 7pm $60 tournament. With 2500 in chips I get real short stacked early on and am down to about $1000. I get queens and push all-in and take down about $500 in blinds and limps. Then I get aces under the gun and push all-in again and get called by pocket 10’s and double up. I take down some more pots and then just before the break I double up again. I look down to see 4s 5s and make it $475 with blinds at $100 - $200. I get 2 callers and the flop is all spades – checked to me where I push all-in and get called by top-pair. He hits no runner runner and a double up.

After 3 hours of playing and getting through 81 other players I reach the final table. I end up getting knocked out when the under the gun goes all in with 8d 7c for $12000, I push all-in with Ad Qh for $27500, the player on my left calls with Kc Ks and the button goes all in for $22000 with Jd Js. No help on the board I end up getting knocked out in 8th spot out of 91 and cash $157. Some semi-decent practice before the main event and I decide to head back to the hotel to relax.

On my way home I stop at a few casinos to pick up chips for Ibs and me before getting to the hotel where I give mum and dad a call. Chat to mum for a while, before calling dad at work only to end up talking to my cousin Ryan since dad was on the phone. Once off the phone I bump into Angie Italiano, and we chat for a while before she heads off – I’m thinking that she may be the answer to my camera troubles, since she is heading home this weekend.

Tomorrow I’m thinking of getting my poker hat made, maybe buy some new sneakers, and get a phone card and head to the far end of the strip to check out some of the other hotels. I’ll also have the Bluff poker player’s party on at the Rio, which seems like it will be a bit of fun.

DefaultRe: My Journey At The 2007 WSOP

Day 7

It was hell to get up this morning – it was just impossible to leave my bed. Finally after eventually getting up I showered, got dressed and headed to the monorail at Bally’s. I decided to head to the end of the strip to look at something different today.

I rode the monorail to the Sahara where I checked out the old poker room and added to the chip collection for Ibs and I. I then walked up to the Stratosphere, checked out the shops there and then headed back to the Sahara to jump on the Monorail. I rode it down to the Hilton where I checked out the gaming floor and hotel.

After getting some lunch at Bally’s I walked to Planet Hollywood where I jumped on a $1-2 table. I never really got any big hands except for these two. A guy in mid-position raises to $8 and its folded round to the button who pushes all-in for $45. I look down and see kings so I re-raise to $99 and everyone folds. The flop comes 6h 9h 2h, then the Kh on the turn and the Jh on the river! How funny is that! I turn a set and he rivers a set but we both chop because of the flush on the board.

Another interesting hand was one of my last for the session. It gets raised to $7 by the under the gun player, re-raised to $15 by this rock, and then I push all-in for about $95. UTG thinks for a while and then folds while the rock contemplates it for ages and then finally folds. They both go sick when I turn over 4d 2c for absolutely nothing! Seriously, I was really looking for both of them to call me so I could possibly triple up – I knew my cards were live and that I could possibly shake ‘n’ bake the crap out of them.

I ended up finishing the session down $98 but even though I barely won a hand it was a good fun session because besides the chitchat, this young girl and me were side-betting the flop and trying to liven the table up. I headed back to the hotel to get ready for the players party and was at the Rio by 6pm.

Once I arrived at the Rio I searched round for the Tilted Kilt pub. Once I found it, thinking I was early, I headed into one of the shops next door. Shane, a player from Crown who also works for Poker Network and playing the Main Event, came up and saw me. We headed in and started having a few drinks. There were Poker Network representatives, Bluff representatives, people from Crown and poker pros such as Tony G, Tony and Joe Hachem, Billy the Croc, Nick the Greek, Angie Italiano, Gary Benson and Mel Judah.

Being Bluff Australasia’s Players Party they had a big bar tab on, as well as providing food and did their speeches about how Bluff has been going over the past year. 60 minutes was also there continuing their coverage on Joe Hachem, so I may just appear on the Poker Network site, in the next issue of Bluff and on 60 minutes.

After the night wound down with many Corona’s and Malibu and Coke’s downed, Shane, Christian and myself decided to head to see Transformers at the Palms. I must admit the movie was really good, the special effects were awesome and the story line was pretty good as well. After the movie we headed our separate ways, but not before making plans to meet up at the Poker Expo the following morning.

Day 8

Today I got up early so I could head into Fashion Show Mall to get my haircut, pick up a phone sim so I can message back home and then head into the Poker Expo at the Rio to check things out. After catching a taxi to the Rio I head into one of the convention halls to scope out the expo. Its absolutely packed with so many different types of booths.

There are people selling clothes, books, poker supplies, and there are booths promoting poker camps, new poker drinks, online websites and strip clubs. Yep, that’s right, strip clubs. There is this one booth by Sapphire (which is a gentlemen’s club) where there is music pumping and there are girls dancing on the stage and on a pole for the whole day.

Well I spend a few hours collecting free samples of poker chips, playing cards, pamphlets and stuff before I spend some time at the Crown booth where I talk to Daniel and Brett about the expo, poker and the WSOP. I finally decide to head into the Rio to check out the satellites being conducted for late entry into the Main Event. There I see so many more pros from Dewey Tomko, Joe Hachem, Joe Sebok, Freddy Deeb, Marcel Luske, Andy Black, Victor Ramdin, Shannon Elizabeth, Kathy Liebet, Paul Ambrose, Eli Elezra, TJ Coultier and many more that I’ve already forgot.

After I finished at the expo I head back to my room to get ready for the Mansion and PokerNews Players Party at Tao nightclub. Once ready I head over to Caesars Palace to meet up with the boys, but after wondering round for about 20 minutes I realise that the Tao is at the Venetian and hurry back up the strip. Once there I head in to Tao and then up to the more exclusive area where the party is at, as I enter the doors into the party it cost Mansion $300 just for me being there.

Shane, Johnno, Christian, Slippers and I sit back, down a few beers and eat some Peking duck while interviews and photos are taken. As it approaches 10, we all decide to head over to the Bluff party at Sapphire to chill for a couple of hours before potentially coming back to Tao. Once there and finally in after arguing about entry we realise that it was a real waste of time. Drinks are free, and so are the lap dances but the party pretty much blows. As time ticks on we were all eager to head back to Tao as it was just picking up as we were leaving.

As I’m chilling with Billy the Croc, Julian Powell and some others Shane comes over to me and says, “we’re leaving right now, we have a ride with my mate Kirk”, being pretty happy that we’re heading back to the hippest club in Vegas I rush out with them. As I walk out to the car I notice who is taking us back to Tao, its Kirk Morrison the recent runner-up in the WPT World Championship to Carlos Mortenson where he earnt a cool 2.1 million.

Well once at Tao we couldn’t possibly run into any more trouble then we did. The que was more than 200 people long, but we just strolled past them all and headed straight upstairs to where the private party of Antonio Esfandiari was being held. As we got to the door, we were all allowed in except for Kirk because he didn’t have the green Tao wristband that we all had from the previous Mansion and PokerNews party. So we head back downstairs and we chat to the guy in charge where Kirk tips him $500 to let him in, which he does. So once at the elevator they tell us we can’t go up because we don’t have the yellow Tao wristband. Getting really pissed, we head back outside where we see poker pro Tony G who says, “you guys can go to my booth, booth 12, booth 12, there’s lots of young Texan girls there, booth 12”.

Finally they let us in! We walk into the private party of Tao to see a huge dancefloor with heaps of people drinking and partying. As we head upstairs, we past 2 girls dancing in a cage and on a pole in only a bra and panties, then we past 2 girls sitting in a bath with only a g-string on dancing and sipping on champagne. Shane and I both look at each other and just have the biggest grin ever on our faces!

Once upstairs we head into Tony G’s booth where the booze is all-free and the view is incredible. As we overlook the dancefloor, free drinks in hand, and poker pro’s in our booth such as Tony G, Roland de Wolfe, the Hux and of course Kirk we see Phil Ivey enter the room and sit in one of the other booths. As the girls get interchanged every so often and us Aussie’s getting more and more drunk as the songs kick on we decide to chill down with the ‘scum’ of Tao on the dancefloor.

As we’re about to head down, a whole bunch of $100 bills drop from the roof onto the dancefloor and into Esfandiari’s booth. We run down, only to be blocked by the busy dancers and the guys staring at the girls in the bath and on the stage.

Once Christian passed out and went home, and Johnno was no where to be found, Shane, Slippers and me headed for some 4am dinner at the Venetian to recover from all the vodka and beer we had drunk for the past 8 hours! As we venture our separate ways, I head back to my room to leave one of the most excited voice messages on Ibs phone of how the night went, as well as giving Aleks a call. What a night! I’m definitely moving here, but just gotta work out where to get the money from . . .
