Default Burswood scheduled new tourneys has anyone attended these?

Burswood has scheduled a run of monday night $25 rebuys.

Am thinking about playing some of these as 1. they are cheap, 2. the casino is a good room, 3. it is on a monday and i have nothign else on and 4. its a cheap rebuy so most people will end up spending $100+ anyway so the prize pool will be elevated a bit more than normal i would think.

but want to know how many people on average have been attending them have they gained some traction at all yet?

    Cheers

I think they only started a week ago - agreed, it would be good to know numbers.

talked to a mate over lunch the last one he had heard on the grapevine was just under 100 runners.

so lets say $25 x 100 + average one rebuy say 25x100 plus 50 add ons 6.25K prize pool.

Pay out say 30% to first = 1875 not bad for a $25 rebuy live hey.

i think i will spending a few monday nights losing $100 at burswood.

That's a pretty good turn out - might have to give it a crack too.

They have had 3 of these so far. First one only had 35 runners (no advertising). Last 2 reached the 100 player cap easy after back page ad in the Sunday Times. Deb has had to turn away lots of players last 2 weeks. I would register early if you want to play.

thanks for letting me know was thinking about it for this monday but the issue is its also a non-work day so can play some sunday minors...

so dont want to register just in case although they should all be done by 6.30pm i guess.

maybe the following week is better suited.

    Hi All

Attendance for Monday Night Madness at Burswoods Poker Room.
So far 4 tournaments with the last 3 reaching the cap of 100 the prize pool to date is:
    Week 1, , prize pool $3650, 1st $1535
    Week 2, 259 rebuys/add-ons, prize pool $8975, 1st 2695
    Week 3, 289 rebuys/add-ons, prize pool $9975 1st 2950
    Week 4, 303 rebuys/add-ons, prize pool $10075 1st $3025
    Week 5 filling fast
The rebuys are insane, one table alone last week had 51 rebuys, now I know why I called it Monday Night Madness

Thanks for the correct info Deb....and yes Burswood rebuys have done it again bought out the rebuy monkeys love it...at least it is worth p;laying a $25 buy in when they do that though...excellent work/idea I say.

I will get myself down there and in this at some stage.
