i dont see the big deal with his 250k debt.

it doesnt say he lost it over 1 year this debt could of taken 3 or 4 years to get that high and that % of his earnings is very small.

It sounds alot to the average person but its only relative to what you earn

lol thret the reason it's different to buying a car is that you still have a car worth 200K when you spend 250K on a new car.
When you lose 250K gambling you have nothing to show for it- just an empty wallet.

doing either could be considered selfish by some, so, to them, it wouldn't be much of a difference. obv i'd rather have the flash car over any fun you can have blowing 250k at the tables.

it's a real shame poker had to be tied into this as i think it's unlikely his debts/losses come from poker. not that i have much information, though a couple of years back i did see fev play live, 2/5 and he only watched the 25/25 game.

the media blows everything out of proportion anyway. whatever it takes to pull in the ratings.
