Woohoo we finally get to see some structures for tournaments

Now we get to pick it apart

    1k Events:
I like the no 25/50 level on the 1k events when you've doubled the starting stacks. I'd much prefere twice as many chips in play than an extra 40minutes of 25/50 so thumbs up there

The antes stay quite small in the early stages of the tournament, not quite sure why this is but some levels the antes are 1/6th of the SB. Better than no antes though...

HOWEVER, you have increased the antes in the 6max, often the antes are 1/3 of the small blind which is interesting. I like that in 6max

40min levels is good as long as the dealers can pump out some hands at a decent pace

    MAIN EVENT:
It seems you got a bit lazy with the antes in this event. For example, level 15 is 2500/5000/500 so 1/5 of the SB ante which is ok, shouldnt go lower than that imo

level 16 is 3000/6000/1000, so the ante doubles and becomes 1/3 of the small blind. This is a huge jump and is obv designedto phase out the $100 chips but surely for the integrity of the tournament that costs 10.6k, you can hold onto them for say a 700 ante. If you are that desperate to see the end of the 100 chip I think it would be better to have an exception and keep the ante at 500, then jump it to 1k at 4000/8000...just my opinion

There are quite a few times when the ante jumps up where I would think it would stay the same for that level, but its nothing extreme

So my breaks on day 1, why? not sure if this is std though but is 3 hours too long without a break?

Not sure about the $550 events but i guess its something for busted players to tilt their money away at. Not sure whether I'd load up on $550 on these though when similiar buyins get much better structures in other events. Still +1 for antes

Turbo looks fun, good structure for something branded as turbo

Something that interest me is the table breakdowns in the ME. I love it plays 8 handed as soon as possible. Not quit sure why they break to 6 handed when down to 36 players, then goes to a 9 handed final table I assume? Or does the FT stay 6 handed

    Just seems confusing to me...

Please tell me in these tournaments you dont inforce the '2 player gap is fine' rule when we are short handed. When you have 3 tables left, 2 of 9 and 1 of 7, just move someone to the table of 7 please

Thanks for dropping those in though, I had given up on searching crown.com.au for structures

Aah much better, but still think ending flight 1 of the first event at 4am is ridiculous. Rest is a definite improvement though

Good luck trying to snap some up now. With AM, and the Aus Open on, most would be snapped up
