$5,000 Australian WSOP Online League starts ANZAC Day at 888poker

We're pleased to announce a brand new online league at 888poker which will give away a $4,500 WSOP package to one lucky PokerNetwork player.

There are five events held every Monday night at 8pm AEST, with the first event set to kick off on ANZAC Day evening. The first event is a freeroll so everyone can play! All you need to do is download 888poker and create an account. No deposit is required!

Event #1: NLHE Freeroll - April 25th 8:00pm AEST
Event #2: NLHE 8c+1c - May 2nd 8:00pm AEST
Event #3: NLHE $1+0.10 - May 9th 8:00pm AEST
Event #4: NLHE $3+0.30 - May 16th 8:00pm AEST
Event #5: NLHE $5+0.50 - May 23rd 8:00pm AEST
Final: NLHE - May 30th 8:00pm AEST

At the end of the league, the top ten points earners will play off in the final for the chance to win a $4,500 WSOP package!

At the moment there are just 5 entries so there's a great chance to grab some early points in the league!

You'll find the tournament under the "Restricted" tab in the tournament lobby. Also one hour before, at 7pm there's a WSOP freeroll for the global PN promotion where you can win your way into the $9,000 final.

Pacific and 888 are one at the same, so if you're receiving that message then it means that your account is not a PokerNetwork/PokerNews referred account. Sorry about that.

Actually, Admin, it is/was!
The only reason I signed up with them was due to a PNW promotion.

First was due to this one:
Exclusive WPC Satellite with over $10,000 in prizes!
though it may also have been due to yoyo's additional prompting here:
Pacific are desperate, ridiculous overlay in this satellite

The accidental second time was due to this one:
aussie millions satellites now more often on pacific poker
Signed up 22/10/08

(don't worry, my error was detected and the "multi-accounting" was quickly
sorted out - I didn't realise that Pacific and 888 were not one and the same).
((It also explained why my preferred/chosen username was already taken!))

Note especially the date of your promotion(s) and date of sign-up!

If somehow, due to this double-up error of mine, the PNW association was
lost then that really should have been sorted out either by 888 or PNW.

It would be nice if you, Admin, could say you'd at least try to help, rather
than a mere "sorry" and then nothing else.

The most likely reason for the error is that you are in fact not tracked to PNW.

We're happy to check what we can at our end with your username, but it sounds like you have a unique situation with your multi-account issue. If your affiliate tracker was lost in this switch, this is an issue to follow up with 888 as there's nothing we can do at this end.

Just 9 registrations so far for the Australian freeroll at 8pm - remember the top ten at the end of the series play off for a $4,500 WSOP package. You can do the math and figure out this is great value!
