I agree with you Strong Play.Especially the last paragraph, unless the player holds up the game.
I have seen some players wearing earphones,in a dreamworld.
Every time the action is theirs, they calmly take of the earphones and ask the dealer to go over the preceding action.Just for them.
The other thing is that one should follow the action and listen to any information given during a hand.
How many times have you seen an Ace hit the flop and some novice exclaiming,I folded an Ace?This could be serious information if you are holding Kings.
Listening to music you could never take advantage of such information.

maybe they were lying bro...
Seriously rickwaa be more of a loser.
Novices never lie.
John Kocbek.
they might've lied about being novices.
You are right Moffo,a good pro will pretend to be a novice so the novices don't run away.

I should have said"a good player".
There is a difference between a good player and a pro.
A pro can be anyone who tries to survive by playing poker. He could be the worst player in the world and still call himself a pro.
A good player could have a job and play poker as well.
These guys can make money as long as they don't play in casinos with big rake and avoid tournaments with a lot of expenses.
