Why would any business spend $20,000 to earn $23,000 per week ? Let alone the 50% luck factor in poker (imo)

Why should online poker players be taxed, we live in a country where they don't tax windfall gambling winnings therefore we shouldn't be taxed ducy? Just because you think poker players should be taxed doesn't mean it is so. There is probably a really good reason the ATO haven't clamped changed their policies.
