John Kocbek.
For the purposes of backing deals I know a lot of major backers sign for their share of the winnings, at least thats how my backer worked at WSOP this year.
Anyone who doesn't sort that what to do with any taxes if relevant before accepting a backing deal is negligent obviously.
Swoop ,you are being professional and covering all corners.
Most people don't think that anyone cares how much they win.
Juko never dreamed that the government was ready to pounce. They never gave any warning for years.
It is only a matter of time before all governments start taxing poker winnings in well known tournaments. So my advice is don't leave a trail of taxable evidence if you can help it.
