As poker is NOT in the habit of giving away money from sponsors or spectators, it is safe to assume that poker players will LOSE $22,000,000 in the next 2 weeks to the Casino ( 10 % ) and to the winners ( 9% of prizepool )......

Come February, again, the current pool of players that make up the Aussie Millions will be sure to have more that a few long term casualties.

Before then, it is all beer and skittle/ shits and giggles:

DAY 1.."WHERE and HOW u BEEN bro ?"......Not seeing your poker opponents for 3 to 12 months smacks of a homecoming reminiscent to a family member who has just returned from overseas , or prison. The backslapping and hugs and ghetto handshakes and fist pumps last LONG into the night....

then it's

DAY 2.. The winner of day one strolls around like a peacock,,,getting insincere 'congratz man' from mates and strangers and poker geeks alike...The grinders have had no sleep, as they played a few MTT's in their YMCA discount lodgings to ensure they still a chance in being in the top 500 on pokert 5's. A few others are talking about the meal/strip club/brothel/early brekkie they just all endured and yes this is the fucking time of their life.

DAY 3...serious woundings to bankrolls have begun...bad beats and "the cunt called me with bottom pair" and i will never ever talk to him again....begins to set in......Welcome to the Aussie Millions...


DAY 16..after lots of borrwoing and lending back and forth, after paying a hotel bill that looks similar to 3 mortgage payments, after seeing not one smile in the lobby, there are 15 or so super happy people as a result of this event.

The rest are just 22million dollar wannabe's and donators.
