It is absurd that she is even compared with Obama.
Even that idiot Abbott gets more than Obama.
Just how can the politicians of a backward little country ,with only 20million people get more than the leaders of the major countries?
At the same time teachers,nurses and the police are underpaid.
I knew that our banks ,casinos and many other enterprises were greedy but our politicians and judges leave them in their greedy,money grabbing wake.
Andwhat about the money our sportsmen get?That is another absurd story.

Politicians make next to nothing compared to what almost all of them could be making in the private sector with their qualifications. Do you really think we would attract competent people to the positions if they were paid even less? Quit your bitching. Sure, our current crop of politicians are awful. Doesn't mean all of them are... and remember, THE PEOPLE voted for them, blame the public.

It takes a certain type of person to go into politics.
You have to be an egoist,a liar,a cheat,two faced and not care about people .
If your main interest was to get re elected and you had the above qualities,you would not last long in business.
And by the way,very few politicians have University degrees.
Would you have Gilard or Abbott runing your business and would you trust them?
We voted for them because we had no other choice.
Besides,most people would vote for Rudd but we don't get a choice.Do we?
There is one educated and intelligent politician,so they got rid of him.
He froze the politicians wages and took on the mining companies.
How dare he do something for the people?
Gillard has no chance at the next elections but the whole world will laugh at us if the clown Abbott gets in.
I know one should never discuss politics on PNW but I couldn't help myself.

oh i agree rudd would be better than gillard or abbott, by a mile. I actually did my internship at Rudd's office when he was shadow foreign affairs minister and i was in the final year of uni. i'm just saying not all politicans are bad. gillard and abbott are terrible, obviously.
