The rake is 10% capped at $5. So basically it's half the commission that you would pay at the casino, but a million times the service and atmosphere.

The rake is reasonable.Half the casino rake plus free food and grog.
The reason I was interested was that I visited three "private" games in Adelaide and found the rake murderous.
The dealer was taking 10% with $15 cap and in one game no cap.
When I asked they said the grog was free.Nobody was drinking.
They were showng the same stupid ,hungry,don't care for the future greed.
These games will not last as the players will burn out quickly,just as the Casino players are burning out.
There is a saying,"You can shear a sheep many times but you can only skin it once".
The Casinos and these private games don't understand this principle.

Hey John..This game on the Coast is no good as the guy hosting it doesnt pay out at the end of the night ,stating he doesnt have the money(as he puts chips into play for himself during the game without putting in the money,as well as being the dealer)..Plus he owes hundreds dollars to players and refuses to pay them back...Avoid this game at all costs..
