    Default Moscow report.

I posted a Moscow report day before yesterday but it seems to be missing,so I'll try again.
Just to keep you updated on what is happening in some other countries.
The weather is becoming cold in Moscow but the girls are just as great.
There are now over 200 Poker clubs and games in Moscow alone, despite Poker being banned.
Players are much better than they were a year or two ago.
It is hard to find a tournament. If you are a tournament junkie you must go overseas to places like Kiev
    or Cyprus.
Fortunately all Europe is close so there are plenty of tournaments on offer.
Nothing much else worth mentioning,so until the next time.JK.

Pokernetwork is an Australian/NZ based forum. Moscow, the last time I checked is not in either of those countries

Is it safe to play there JK?

I'd feel very hesitant to walk into a poker club in Moscow, knowing a) that poker is illegal b) i'd probably be the only foreigner there

I recently reported on the WPT Cyprus Main Event that took place in Northern Cyprus; the bit Turkey owns. There was a ton of money splashing around there, so much so it was jaw-dropping to watch. One guy was playing $5/$10 (yes they use dollars) and was losing heavily so stood up and went to sit at a $100/$200 table!

One of the British pros who was out there said he flies out every year to play live Pot Limit Omaha with rich Turkish businessmen and he cleans up every time.

Hi C bomb, what is wrong with knowing what is happening on the other side of the world?
PNW reports on WSOP in Las Vegas. Is it ok to report on American poker but not other countries?

It is safe to play in Moscow.I am the only foreigner in our club. The Russians treat me well.Mind you I have been here over 12 years.

In Cyprus, most of the big players are Russians. They don't like the political situation here in Russia so have moved to places like Cyprus and Las Vegas to play poker.

No PNW rehashes old stories from other (possibly affiliated) sites that they think readers will have an interest in. Generally the biggest tournament series are in the USA and then of course more recently Europe (EPTs)[/QUOTE]

I was just trying to offer a possible reason as to why your previous thread was deleted, not criticise the content, which I had not seen.
