Do you remember a few years ago when players from Sweden used to dominate Internet and Live tournaments?
What has happened to them?
Did their luck run out?

John Kocbek.
The only Swede that comes to mind is Isildur. But then again I am not a tournament player.
Isildur is a cash player and the worlds' biggest mug.On Full Tilt alone he is down 2.6 million.
But where are the good Swedish players ?
In the ancient days when people actually thought that tournaments were skill,Swedish players were winning everything.

A lot of Swedes no longer list their country as Sweden and keep a low profile on forums etc due to the tax situation in Sweden. In Sweden you have to pay tax on every pot you play, even if you lose, which is why many are now so secretive or live outside of Sweden.
There was something a few years back that said Blom would owe something ridiculous like $50m or something due to the pots he had played.
Anyone who can build up a bankroll as quickly as he did at his age is no mug by any stretch of the imagination. But I know what your response will be. He was just incredibly lucky obv. He may be down on FTP (I don't know for sure I haven't checked) but I know he mostly played on European sites.
Blom is regarded as on of the best NLHE HU players of all time (according to those who have played him) the problem is he has no stop loss strategy in place and his game selection is poor at best.
Hi Yorkshire Pudding.
How many times have I heard"so and so is the best player of al time"?
To tell you thetruth,I am tired of the quote. It means nothing because it is used so often on so many average players.
To name a few,Phill Hellmuth,Joe Hachem,Isildur etc.
How can the best of all time, have poor stop/loss strategy and poor game selection.
All you have to do is wait for him to go on tilt.
And if he was the best of all time, would it matter who he played with?
Reminds me of Eric Drache back in the 80's.
He was regarded as the 7th best player is the world(only in the world, not of all time).
His problem was that he only played against the other six.
