I occassionally stop by here and have a geeze to see if theres any chance of a poker revival in Oz, then I put my credit card back in my pocket and realise that online is DEAD, live aside from 90% retired greeks and the unemployed is dead in clubs, and the casino, yeah right!

I don't know if the club poker is dead.
The place I played in last March had Manila every night and three other Rummy tables operating.
It is unfortunate if you only play Texas but there are other poker versions available in the clubs.
We did have Texas tournaments every second day,to try and teach the Greeks and the Italians the Texas game.
They played in the tournaments but were not interested in the Texas cash games.Too boring for them.
I guess it is up to us to revive poker.not with promotional crap like the Sites and casinos give us.Usually lies and pretend
offers.
We must clean up the game.Teach new players not only how to play but to protect themselves.
We must make poker affordable for everyone not just the rich and the drug dealers and the crooks.
At the moment there are too many "dirty" people operating poker.
