I think there is now enough young players consistantly acheiving big results in tourneys to not have poker network giving the young gun award to some middle aged balding guy/girl with grey hair. Since i am a young player myself i am continually dissapointed when i fail to see one of my younger peers getting the award. Its this sort of encouragement that cold give the much needed confidence to any given player and could provide our next aussie million champion or maybe even WSOP. Maybe you should put an age limit on the award.

I think Harry Chandler is a little over the hill. Not that he's not deserving of the award, maybe a "Middle Aged Player of the Month award"... I'm sure he has a little grey hair as well....Emad

Maybe we need to define YOUNG40 is the old age of youth50 is the youth of old age

To all those whose first experience of poker is a manila game the definition of young is anyone under 65, A young gun would be anyone under 50 who smaokes less than 3 packets of cigarettes during a session of cards. To a new poker player in late teens or early 20s a player in his 30s seems middle aged, so probably we do need a definition of both "young" and "gun"guns probably shouldn't be allowed in a poker room anyway
