i think this is read-critical. if your opponent is aggressive and will bet at a flop like this if you check, then the c/r is a legitimate option. however, to give a free card on such a draw rich board is very dangerous. hence, i would lead out with a pot sized or larger bet, unless my read was perfect.

I think thats a bad time to choose to check-raise.The flop is too draw rich to risk giving a free card. You were the aggressor preflop so even if you miss the flop completely your opponent would be expecting a continuation bet. Checking does not make you look weak, it is screaming check-raise. You say you have no reads, but even if I considered devyn08 to be very aggressive I would still bet out. Even with a flop of A Q Q I would still bet out because thats what Im doing if I hold TT or suited connectors.I am surprised pokerbok checks this 4/10 times. Me might be ridiculously better than myself but I just can't agree with that.

Was just a BS rough estimate - pointing out that you shouldn't do only one thing. Probably more like 80% 15% 5%

Given the fact that people hit their 4 to 1 flush draws about 2 in 3 against me and that when I go for the 4 in 1 flush draw I hit it about 1 in 6 or 7 I never check to a 2 card flush ... lead out an dmake em pay... you only have 2 pr after all.

When it is heads-up and you are out of position, have raised pre-flop I like a standard continuation bet in this situation. Adds deception to your game as your oppoents can't tell if you are betting the nuts or you missed the flop completely. A check in this siuation raises suspicion of good opponents, this guy obviously had no idea so you won a good pot.

knightfan, my default is to bet. Like bok, it's probably around 75/15/10 for bet, c/r and c/c respectively. I continuation bet a ton so a bet is no indicator of any great strength, whereas a check/raise usually is. If they hold 54o then you're not getting action either way.
