I am amazed how little noise has been made on this noticeboard about the emergence of TWO (2) New Poker Clubs in Australia.I would have expected an overwhelming number of congratulatory posts, maybe you missed the announcements:1. > Newcastle Poker Club NPC2. > Queensland Poker Players Association QPPAIt would be nice if all the poker players in Australia got behind the organisers of these two new clubs just as we all have with the APA in Adelaide and Sydney.It is a tough job and they will need every bit of encouragement they can get so why not click on their page and flick them an email, only take 30 seconds.So now we have poker clubs:APA AdelaideAPA SydneyNPC NewcastleQPPA BrisbanePoker at Sydney Casino.Rumours of poker opening in Adelaide & Gold Coast.And of course the numbers of poker players at Crown just continues to grow....POKER IS CERTAINLY ALIVE AND WELL IN THIS COUNTRY.

Thanks Bendigo - you are certainly right, poker is exploding in Australia.There hasn't been a great deal of noise on the noticeboard, but we are receiving a huge amount of enquiries and registrations via our webpage. It has far surpassed our expectations!The NPC is doing fantastic as well - Rob and his committee down there are doing a great job with sponsorship deals and organisation. It's all very exciting.yoyo

Top work guys. I've spoken to both organisers & they have really done a good job with the set up of there clubs. I'll be present for NPC's PokerKnights Classic, Easter Sunday & i going to try & make the trip for the State of Origin. Both organsations are non-profit so get behind & support them. This is an exciting time for poker in Australia.
