Crown Poker Room Refurbishment Special Tourney Deal

Regulars at the Crown Poker Room in recent weeks will have noticed a number of changes to the Poker Table Set Up in the Vegas Room. To date there has been little change to the overall look of the poker room, however, that will change next week with the commencement of major works.During this time the poker room will remain open with 23 tables offering all regular tournaments and most cash games. Additional tables offering Holdem cash games will also be available from 6pm Thursday to Saturday in a new Poker Pit on Level 1. As a special offer for tournament players during the refurbishment, Crown will be reducing the cost of its 10.10am Sunday tournament from $65 to $60 with no change to the prizepool on offer. These new prices will take effect from this Sunday 18 June 2006.

Hey Danny,Look forward to the new look room. It was good catching up with you before the freeroll.The freeroll was great fun. Looks like lots of people who played, enjoyed themselves and knew how to play. Thanks for running it.I know of a few people who have never played a crown tournament, and really liked the idea of the freeroll but didn't get an invite. It really did bring the people in last night.I have to get back into playing the sunday tournys.Vadim T

It was a blast from the past. Thanks for your feedback and yes, there may be more freerolls coming.I think i recall you being in a huge hand years ago in a Crown Sunday tournament (when that was the only tourney). 4 players all in and pockets aces, pocket Kings, pocket queens and pocket Jacks. Am i right and did you have the jacks?

Thanks for reminding me of that hand. I had to go to therapy for that. I was the unfortunate soul that had the Aces, and ended up with the worst hand by the river.
