PUB POKER GAME RAIDED !!!!!!!

I have spoken with 2 of my friends who were at the final table when the "raid" took place. The boys in blue were there regarding the poker, however, they didn't stop the game or take any names. They DID take photos of all the equipment; i.e. cards, chips, tables; the relevant documents i.e. certificates of approval from government bodies; and the players on the final table. They simply said they were "investigating". I'd say nothing will come of it. Any problem that could arise will be related to the fact that the game is held in a licenced venue. Apparently they have had charity games at Morayfield Tavern that have been OKed by the cops b4.They probaBly just got their noses out of joint because they weren't asked for permission RE the new games. Anyway just filling you in on words from a couple of horse's mouths. See you at the tables,Ehren

Oh and by the way, QLD is a great place to live. I always laugh when I see the Victorian licence plates with the slogan "The place to be" because I think "if it'g so great why are you here?" Let's argue about sensible things like whether or not we'll have to drink our own pee in the next 10 years ;-)
