New Crown Poker Room Idea :)

Gidday,So I love the new poker room down at Crown and it looks like the electronic wait list system replicates some of the nice rooms in Vegas which can't be a bad thing. I was thinking how good it would be to have the information on the board on poker network or the crown website.. Is it possible to set this up? It would be neat to be able to check in where you are waitlisted and what games are being spread while out of the room, especially these days with internet available on mobile phones.Just something to think about for future updates.Cheers.Andrew.

I would simply prefer a second list, as opposed to having to come back to the one area where both screens are, as that area Ive found already gets quite packed, and if you are waiting around the side for your table, theres a constant back-and-forth that just gets irritating, having a 2nd screen on the side on the cashier booth would even allow seated players to monitor the lists.

Extra screens have always been part of the new room design. Just awaiting delivery and instalation.You will soon be able to watch the list without leaving your seat or from the bar area.With regard to the online live updates of cash games, I floated this idea some time ago and there are some technical issues as well as some potential regulatory ones. Short answer on this is "it's in the works".Regards,

not in the casino's best interest to have online waiting lists....think how many people get sucked into playing blackjack or other enticing activities whilst waiting....they've got the better of me in the past

Terrible idea.If an electronic online registration system was allowed, many players who are somewhat unsure that they are going will still register on the list (just in case they feel like it). This will clog the waiting lists.

Just to clarify - the idea relates to being able to view the list online, not register your interest online.The Poker Room's policy is always that you must be present in the room in person to register your interest.

Being able to VIEW wait lists on phone/internet is an excellent idea. If it is feasiable I would definitely use it.

Great work everyone involved at crownfantastic world standard facility mr jones. everyone is so quick to knock and whinge, even conspirascy theories on shufflin machines ,lmaooh well as you well know cant please everyone all the time, and especially poker players!,wether its the price of drinks the amount of rake or i havnt got a cushion for my chair , i cant see the screen, is a new one great.and even being dammed about things they dont understand the online monitoring ooooh,people with too little in there lives i wonder if jk has a course or class for them, human betterment program or just plain be grate ful for wat u got.
