"On a mac while running windows xp" ?? If you're running windows xp, you can run all software available for windows. If you're running macos, you're a little out of luck although there is a full tilt client for macos.

Tried & failed. Best to use PC for poker and keep the cool multi-media interests on Mac.

Yes it is possible and just as well if not better than on your PC.The latest dual core Intel chip Macs using what is called Boot Camp allow a segment of your Macs HD to work as a PC.You do need a copy of Windows to be installed and then all things PC are now available on your Mac.Unfortunately that part of your Mac working as a PC is also now vulnerable to Internet viruses so be aware of this.Everything is explained on the apple web site. When the next generation of Macs is unveiled later in the year using what I thibk will be called leopard, it will all be included as standard. This latest development by apple should be just what has been needed to really power up sales. I believe there will be an explosion of sales in the next 12 months which will push the Mac up into a position of real strength.
