How come there are so many big time winners online especially in the higher limit games 5/10NL and above? Who loses their money to these people? Im very curious to know.

Unless Carmen Electra calls for an emergency titty fuck, don't answer.
"How come there are so many big time winners online especially in the higher limit games 5/10NL and above?"Because theres no publicity for losers. And Gaz.
Boo yah i make miracles happen.
tournament winners
PLO rggd ;(
1-2 2-4 and 3-6 players on hot streaks jumping into games they shouldn't
think goldy got it
It's a bit of all of the above: some winning players have losing streaks that allow other players to become winners, tournament players will take a crack at cash games they can't beat, lower-limit players will take a crack at a bigger game than normal, some "rich" individuals just want to "check out this online poker thing" and they have the money to play higher limits, and some players migrate to games they aren't good at even if they have the bankroll (like I did to Omaha Hi/lo, lol). Sum all this up and then add to it Tony's observation that you just don't see the losers bragging on 2+2 or anywhere really about how they dropped 25K or whatever sum it takes to make a winner out of another player and you get a picture of how 30-100 players might be very successful at online high-stakes poker.

Forget that whole paragraph... I missed Samadhi's post. The answer is clearly Gaz.

have not read responses but you'd be suprised how few winners there are i think...Also lots of players taking shots donate (one reason i think 2+2 exists?), most of the top players promote and teach players so they will lose money when they get to the top limits because very few people can actually beat high limits...Plus you only hear about the winners most of the time..

There are of course a lot of bad players. The following is the way I see:The typical bad player is one that enjoys poker/gambling and has an income that can support average losses of $100-$1000 a week. These people don't have the time to study the game and to become winning players. They're too busy earning an income, or playing tennis, being with family etc in there off-time. Now a lot of people can afford to fit into the $100-$1000 bracket, therefore 5/10 can be pretty fishy. You should have a read of two plus two's bad beat and variance forum. You will see a lot of losses there. They're the ones continually complaining about bad beats. They see their losses as them just being unlucky, and don't attribute it to their bad play. Anytime you hear someone complaining about sites being rigged, they are probably lossing players, just trying to blame their bad play on other factors.Opps, just seen you are talking about 5/10NL. Most of what I said still applies.Trent.
