Melbourne Champs Update - numbers building nicely

The credit card entries are starting to come in and I know of many interstaters already confirmed as coming.With 24 tables full last night at 7pm and 35 tournament players still to be seated, expect the Crown 26 Table Poker Room to be pumping throughout this event with lots of out of towners here. Cost of entry is accessible to almost everyone, however, the expected numbers will still generate excellent prizepools.Will we be able to seat everyone? Not so sure going on the huge numbewrs at Crown last night, however, 4pm guarantee remains in place for all the evening $125 tournaments and 11.30am for the weekend 12.30 starts.

1 to date - these will be mostly on the eve and day I'd say.Partnerless players can simply pay $125 on the day and we will randomly match you up. Expect a number of same sex pairings though!

Well two teams wouldn't make for much of a Tourney Ro, but at least I'd be in with a 50%chance!Thanks for the info Danny, as you can see I have a partner...not same sex either...is that a first LOL. Women in poker. It's a disgrace isn't it!!!Don't know how I found someone willing to throw away $125 partnering me the way I play....my friend here can't be the brightest flower in the bunch, hope he can play though ha!!!Can't wait, really looking forward to it...thanks for putting a limit game on...all this no limit business makes my head spin!Tam

Danny, re: Tag team event.What does you partner do while you are playing? Do they sit next to you and offer advice ? Or is it strictly "behind the rails" ?Is there any form of communication permitted between team members ?

Danny, can teams enter twice and play 2 stacks and therefore be able to play without a break and swap seats at the change over?cheers
