| PokerStars running Sats to the Aussie Millions: ATTN Danny McD / Jeffrey Haas | 2008 12 09 06:58 pm | I see that PokerStars are running some satellites to the Aussie Millions, which is muy bueno. Not sure what the arrangement Stars have struck with Crown, and I understand that the PCA will be Stars' main focus for satelliting, however, might I suggest adding a wider range of sats? The APPT sats were successful because there were a number of different ways to gain entry: freeroll multi-stage satellites, higher buy-in freezeouts, turbo direct qualifiers, VIP FPP freerolls etc. I would imagine that $22+R turbo satellites akin to the $22+R APPT Sydney satellites would be immensely popular. Given the downturn in numbers of people heading to the southern hemisphere observed in APPT Syd, and seeing that Crown have guaranteed such a large amount in the prize pool, I would have thought this would have been a no-brainer; I can only imagine there is some administrative reason behind this? Thoughts/Input from Danny McD / Jeffrey Haas appreciated. Cheers, SP. |

For the main, I'm certain the blind levels had been posted earlier (possibly by Danny McDonuts) as being 75min, whereas the structure sheet notes them as being 60min. Can this be confirmed one way or the other please? Thanks Joel |
