    Default NRL winner

It looks like the winner this year will come from one of the current top 5 teams. Does anyone agree or disagree. can a team outside the current top 5 win the comp? Who and why.

    Dragons, Bulldogs, Manly, Melbourne

one of those teams will win it...with the Dragons clear favourites

+1 except don't agree with clear favs on the Dragons.

Titans are a side I think that will have to lose one to win one. (That said they do have Scott Prince at halfback and i'm sure a lot of people were saying that about the Tigers in 2005)

What evidence proves otherwise...everyone was all about Bulldogs and Dragons, but lets be honest the Dragons ahve showed they have just that little bit more at this stage.

But, if you count the 2 points Bulldogs were stripped against the Panthers, and that bullshit call against Dragons, Bulldogs should be 1 game clear at the top of the table, but still I think at the moment its Dragons clear favourites, followed very closely by Bulldogs and Manly, and Melbourne is just Melbourne they are always in it.

    Titans will not win it

If / when the Tigers beat Manly in the next round, people are going to start to talk about a 2005 repeat.

I'm not actually saying I think the Tigers will win the GF ... infact I think making the 8 is still only a 60/40, but at the moment they are probably playing as well as anyone in the Comp, have a settled team, quality players in Heighington and Galloway to return and much like in 2005 our 1,6,7 and 9 are all firing - and I wouldn't trade our left side attack of Lawrence and Tuiaki for any other centre / wing combo in the competition.

Not to mention we have a great run home ... Manly, Roosters, Sharks, Eels, Titans and Bulldogs.

Someone give me odds on Tigers winning their next 3 in a row ?? Khalil ??

How is playing three of the top five - plus a Parramatta side starting to look very impressive - a great run home?

Look i dont care who wins.

I follow a player...his name is Luke Covell.

When this player retires i dont watch Rugby league no more.

I think he is the best winger ive seen.

When he played for the tigers i went for tigers, now he plays for cronulla i go for the sharks. I hate AFL, but if he went to AFL i'd go for the AFL.

ive never met him but im a fan.
