Default Australia, Aboriginies, land rights, reconciliation etc.

    Plitics in this thread.

Just wondering what everyone thinks about this whole issue.

Some Schoolteacher near where i work has just made a big speech saying how all whites should leave this country, as well as other immigrants after those (asians etc).

    Made me wonder,
    Whats everyones thoughts about this.

I listen to Brian Wilshere on 2GB sometimes and he was talking about this on Tuesday and brought up some good points about this. I think Brian is very clever and i have alot of respect for him. I'll post his thoughts, and my thoughts a bit later.

    My thoughts:

If the british never came over & colonised this country, the French would have more than likely done it. Back in those times it was dog eat dog world, eat or be eaten, their are some loosers & some winners!

I'd extend what Tony said into a genocide by Japan.

That was the plan by Japan during ww2.

    America/Australia saved them.

Look Seriosuly if one particular country or race thinks they have what it takes to take over the world then i applaud them for trying, its like when you ask your friends what they would do if they won the lottery, my answer has always been : Attempt to take over the world?? its pretty simple theory---> It all comes back down to forward progression!

I suggest you have a browse through this website

Truthism.com - Your #1 Source for the Truth

Then sit back and ask yourself if your question regarding Aus, Aborigines & brian Wilshir is really significant in the great scheme of things!

    Some points Brian brought up.
-If the Anglican teacher really believed his own rant why hasn't he gone yet.

-If everyone went back to where they came from where do we stop? An aussie man with british ancestry and a danish last name goes back to Denmark? What about his wife that is a Scottish/German hybrid?

-People often forget that what is illegal or immoral in todays world was not the case in historic times. Conquering was the norm.

-Wasnt this resolved from the apology by Rudd? And all the other treaties etc.

-White Australia has paid their debt to Australian Aborigines...and then some.

-Japan and how we saved them from genocide.

-The Australian communist party in the 30s established the whole 'white australia genocide' idea and land rights concept. That is the political inception of the debate.

-If we leave back to wherever, do we take back western innovations with us? Leaving pretty much just dirt and mud huts behind?

    And my own thought:

-Aboriginies play the race card too often.

    -They have a 'victim' mentality.

-They were nomads, how do you steal a nomads home?

-They are not a progressive/intelligent people/race in my opinion.

    I mean,
if you plucked a bunch of italians from Italy and planted them somewhere barren...They will build it into a functioning society after a few years.
Same with british, German, Dutch etc.

I dont feel confident that the same can be said of Aborigines. Not now, not ever.

    Harsh, but am i wrong?

    How so?

At one point people have to start taking responsibility for themselves and make their own mark on the world.

    Case in point.

My family rock up to Australia in the 40s from Ukraine.

    No english, no money, nothing.

Through hard work they created the Church and studied hard at school.

My family then produced a doctor, a HR manager and a teacher (mother).

There was no handouts, no one holding their hand. Not even the same language.

Could you honestly see Aboriginal Australia with this initiative?

40,000 years they created such great inventions as a hollow tree branch that makes a sound. Today they have their own problems.

Of course there are some dedicated individual Aboriginies who have this drive and determination.
Nothing but respect for those people.

However, i see no hallmarks of an intelligent people. If they were, 50% of our jails woudnt be aboriginal for a start.
