    Default Movies Now Showing

hey guys, just like to share my experience with you.

Been to the cinemas 3 nights back to back and wanted to give you my ratings in case you decide to go watch.

Taking of Pelham 123: As you can imagine, with guys like Travolta and Denzel, the movie is very good. We know its a remake of the 1977 flick and i have not seen it. imo, if you were to put 2 other guys instead of these 2, then the movie would rate about 4.5 - 5/10 but with them as main characters... definitely worth watching 6.5/10

Inglorious Bastards: This movie takes the cake, if you like the way Tarantino directs his flicks then your gonna love this. It is not completely the way he made greats like pulp fiction and reservoir dogs, but this movie for me was absolutely a hit. Have not been impressed by the movies for a long time. Will go to see again as soon as I can. 7/10

District 9: Shocka, I am definitely not against sci-fi's an Alien stuff, not to say im a big fan but loved movies like, Predator (who didn't?) AlienVSPredator and a number of other Alien-space sh**t flicks.. But this movie was a shock to the system as it was very un-expected. Still may be worth a watch as its very creative, but visually not what I wanted to see. And if i were to re-write the movie, I would have changed many things to make it a little more kinda realistic. Just the way main characters acted, were second rate low budget give-aways. 3.5/10

Of course if you have seen them or some yourself, post an tell us if you agree/disagree.

    cheers

While i clicked my fav’rite bookmark, suddenly there came a warning, and my heart was filled with mourning, mourning for my dear amour, "'Tis not possible!”, I muttered, ” give me back my free hardcore!”….. quoth the server 404

    Yeah thanks man.

Have been meaning to go to the movies for a while but keep getting side tracked.

Inglorious Basterds seems to be the obvious choice. I like Tarantino, well I hate some of his movies but love the others. The guy is certainly one messed up cat.

I was interested to read your views on Pelham 123. I have wanted to watch this for a while because...well...John. But I am just struggling to get excited about the story line.

I suppose I will watch it eventually.

I am ashamed to admit I did not love 'The Hangover' as much as everyone else does. I mean yeah it is funny but I just thought it was another version of Dude Where's My Car but without Ashton Kutcher

I have been re watching a lot of spoof movies of late. 'Top Secret', 'Hot Shots' 1 and 2, 'Flying High'...needless to say I have been very happy.

Actually I just decided the sooner I do a 'Naked Gun' marathon the better

Not exactly a movie now showing, but Old School is still one of my favourite movies and recommend it to anyone who hasn't seen it yet. Same director as The Hangover, and Will "Frank The Tank" Ferrell at his best.
