MP3 Download

Hey,

Deceided to actually pay for some music as there are now plenty of music shops that offer MP3 download for a "resonable price" (apparently). Want to stay away from the overlord mentality shops (iTunes, bigpond etc)

Have checked out a couple but none seemed to provide my requirements. emusic, soundlke, sanity, napster, mp3.com and a couple others that come up on Google search "purchase mp3"

Just want to purchase MP3's, new and old material, for a reasonable price, with nil or reasonable DRM. Any just to make it a little hard, Blues. Been looking for Guitar Shorty but only found on Amazon which wouldn't let me purchase. Also found legalsounds.com but Russian??

Any recommendations on the above sites or others?

I really would've thought by now the idiots that are ripping the consumer and the artists off would realise they could sell 3 times the amount of content at half the ripoff price and make more money. I started not paying for my collection in protest but have gone unheard.

My predicament is the 13year old. Trying to instill some good values and smarts.

and thanx's Thret for the good instructional toon. Shall use it to help the kid understand some of the issues. Education would be easier if all the lessons were Simpsons shows.
