Default An Australian Hero!

    I am one.

    An Australian Villain?

Meet the Australian Who's Saved 160 People from Suicide
Don Ritchie lives across the street from the most famous suicide spot in Australia: A cliff known as "The Gap." Most people would move, but Ritchie's stayed for almost 50 years—saving an estimated 160 people from suicide.
If I wasn't so lazy, I would provide those consumers with a - balanced - argument. This guy is just rocking his monopoly without any competition.

We'll see if he can hang onto them when I'm shoving both of them towards the ledge. We will see.

In all seriousness, saving people from suicide is a villainous pursuit.

We all like to believe in the stereotype of the lovesick romantic or the down-and-out yet good-hearted battler contemplating noose against their better judgement. And all they need is you to come along and show them that someone cares, and then they live happily ever after. And it's all thanks to you!

    Gobble-dock.

The vast majority of people who noose have VERY good reasons for their decision. And no one does actually care - outside some in-laws and acquaintances who care a lot post-noose out of guilt etc. But if they actually cared pre-noose...

The fact of the matter is, this world would be a great deal better off if a great many more people who 'contemplated' curtains actually drew the curtains. Paedophiles, Catholics, jihadists [credit to them], emo idiots, abusive / incompetent parents, the population of Inala QLD, rapists, etcetera etc.

Whilst it would - of course - be wrong to play God....surely we can all do our part? With a little nudge here and there. I call upon all of you to follow my example. If you have a paedophile or a rapist or a Catholic as a friend, throw in a well-timed criticism / suggestive line of conversation / just do your part for humanity.

I will certainly will, you are now officially my hero.

I am pleased to see you set an example and take the lead here for the good of Australia.

As soon as you take the noose first I am sure we will all think about getting behind you. And if you want someone to kick the chair over I am sure you will not be short of volunteers.

I am but a humble SkyNgger. Born to lead and inspire lesser men. Merely that. No more. Alas, no more.

But I will not be leading by example. That's what leaders do when they don't know the first thing about leadership. Like a football captain etc.

The Bard once opined "some are born great, some achieve greatness, and others have greatness thrust upon them."

He could not yet have known, simple little playwright that he was, that the time would come when a humble SkyNgger would tick all 3 boxes pop pop pop.

    Those are my credentials.

No, I will not be asking the Peanut Gallery for input. That's what weak leaders do to give fools the false impression they are contributing or have 'ownership' of whatever noose idea is the order of the day.

But enough about me. At least...for now. There are emo's afoot. And we are endowed with a Holy Mission.
