Gold Coast - Ashmore Steak and Seafood - AINEC

lol, OP was looking for an equivalent to Rookpool. Asmore Steak and Seafood is where all the tour groups and busses stop ffs. That's gotta tell you something about the place surely.

There are high end restaurants around where you can get good steak (Oskars at Burleigh) but I'm not so sure Gold Coast has a dedicated fine dining steakhouse

Anybody else been to Kingsleys? Menu looks better than CCC...will be going to both, just wanted to book the better one for July 4th?

Have not been to a Japenese yet that I thought was brilliant but there is a great restaurant in Brisbane called Libertine which is a Vietnamese/French fusion thing and is very nice food and a great little restaurant. Would recommend that highly.
