The overall specs are good (cost ~$1300), speed is brilliant but I have had a few hassles with the overall build. The solid state drive became corrupt so I had to get that replaced (wiping all my HEM stuff), then the RAM was faulty so had to replace that (all free, but still a hassle/downtime), now I think the solid state drive is playing up again as my old HEM database became corrupt, and Windows 7 seems to hate Skype and iTunes so it took a while to get them working as well.
I appreciate that it can kind of be hit-and-miss getting custom builds and PCs are finnicky at the best of times but tbh after the amount of time I spent reading up on what problems I had I would probably consider actually buying all the parts and building it myself. There's some great magazines dedicated solely to that topic and the 2p2 computer technical support thread was great at explaining stuff...other than having to put in a bit of cooling paste around some things it seems very much just like grabbing some kind of 'custom' spec that works from a magazine then buying it and clipping it all in yourself.
