Yes i am from Denmark, but i have an australia website that i need a writer to keep updated with around 5 news articles a week.
So i figure that the very best sollution would be that it is an Aussie

I have a little Aussie in me though, as i lived in Brisbane for a year and went to highschool when i was young

    what sort of articles
General poker news articles about basicly everything that goes on online and offline. Tournament etc.

I have some other poker news sites and the last weeks most news have been about wsop and the ftp scandal.

It is not a huge pay, but could be a good supplement for students for eksample.

The writers i have don´t complain.
The posts can be scheduled, and it dosent take long to write 5 articles.

How long do you think it would take to "write" one?

If we are talking a simple copy/paste and re arrange someone else work to look like a half thought out poorly written attempt at re hashing an old article then $20 per article might be OK(I know you said $20 per week but you can jam that up your ass mate). This also would require another person to proof and edit.

But if you want someone to write a good article that will be able to eventually attract the broader poker community that follows poker issues and wants to actively improve the game (seemingly unlike a lot of "regs" here) then you need to think about paying a better amount.

I would think that for writing, editing and researching articles that are relevant to current issues and have information from some reputable source you might want to aim around the $50 per article to get even some kid who really has very little idea about the poker scene in Australia.

One thing that will be against you is the trend of top Aussie grinders shunning "the media" (not sure if dedicated poker media would be included) due to some recent bad publicity and silly decisions by a couple of top guys who had good intentions but were led astray by fuck wits(One particular reporter even won an industry award for his work, but admitted that evidence doesn't matter to him).

I'd be keen to do something like this, but you'd need to make a good offer. I'm by no means a grinder, or even very skilled at poker, but I love the game and I like to follow it as closely as I can. I have a couple of contacts that could lead to better contacts if I were to pursue them.

PM me if you are serious about it.

Oh and any student can get $17hr min at McDonalds. Why would they take $20 a week?
