Default Going to Vegas, where to stay ?

W/ some friends and family. Looking for a hotel room on the strip, price isn’t to much of a factor but more after value for my money.

    Any recommendations ?

Search Google and see packages offered by hotel.

Well rooms in Vegas are over rated ONLY cause your really never in the room. I would stay at the Signature Suites at the MGM. Check out VRBO is Vacation Rentals By Owner for rooms and deals. Also most hotels give a rate for poker players. Look at Bellagio, Venetian etc for those rates. Good Luck and enjoy...
St Patricks Tavern "seven hills" is where the REAL poker is at !!!

    hotwire.com

    priceline.com
use the 'name your price' thing

betterbidding.com has useful tips on how much to bid on priceline and what hotels you're likely to get for both priceline and hotwire

    hotelscombined.com
select the star level you want after nominating your travel dates

The nicest hotels on the strip include: Venetian/Palazzo, Wynn/Encore, Aria, Cosmopolitan, Bellagio.
