APCOOP Schedule . . . Mistakes?

Reading through the article PokerNetwork posted a while back - PokerStars Announce New Online Tournament Series for Asia Pacific! - I seem to have found a mistake.

Planning on playing the Event 8: $22 HORSE and Event 9: $22 Six Handed following cricket on Saturday, the lobby of PokerStars shows these two events don't exist.

Instead they are, Event 8:$22 Pot Limit Draw and Event 9: $22 NLH [1r1a].

Can anyone detail reasons why this may be so?

Not having a go at PokerNetwork or PokerStars, but I just think that them creating a Draw tourney over a HORSE one is more of a mistake then mis-information on our behalf.

Draw poker is the last real poker game that still exists.

Forget holdem where 70% of the information is on the table or omaha where u have 9 cards to decide how sexy your hand is...

Draw Poker is an Australian game and the best players are IN Australia.

Make no mistake.

It is a true game of skill and involves deep psychological moves of the course of the game where bluffs are paramount.

HORSE is played by 250 aussies

DRAW by 250,000 Aussies anywhere there is a blanket,card table and a deck of Queen Slippers.

I understand that DRAW is a big game in Australia, and a tonne of people still play it.

However 95% of them probably don't have an online account.

You will get more players playing a HORSE APCOOP than a DRAW APCOOP is all i'm saying.

I doubt this, maybe Euchre but Draw is DEAD and it has been for a long long time.

Even before I knew about Holdem, we played cards from dusk till dawn 20 years ago. We played mainly 7 Card Stud. We also played Oh Hell!, Whist and Hearts all for cash, cause Draw was boring as batshit.

Oh Hell! was taught to me by the Old Golfers at my club when i went on a golf trip to Melbourne with them also about 20 years ago. We stayed at Victoria Golf Club there were no TV's in rooms and we played this every night for a dollar a point. Good Game!
