Deaf Poker Australia: Special Online Tournament on Sunday, March 6 @ 7.30pm AEDT

Hi all,

As you may know, as well as writing and reporting for the good people here at PNW, I'm also working with the non-profit organisation Deaf Poker Australia as their Tournament Director.

You might have also seen that we've recently set up DPA Online, our club in the PokerStars Home Game network. We host regular games on Sunday nights, including our play-money DPA Online Series, which is the first of two 10-week seasons where the winner will be staked by the DPA into the Australian Deaf Poker Championship at the Adelaide Casino later this year.

On Sunday, March the 6th, 2011, the DPA Online Series is on a "rest week", but we are hosting a special DPA Online tournament and we'd like to invite a select few within the elite poker community to participate as our special guests.

It's a small $2 buy-in, but it's a 5000 start bank six-max NLHE tournament which will run for approximately 3-3.5 hours. The idea is that we want to introduce our players to the concept of real-money games and at the same time, create a Skype chat "forum" to have you and our players discuss poker and create awareness in the Hearing community about our work.
