I generally try not to get into the whole Sydney v. Melbourne/AFL v. NRL thing but, seriously, WTF is wrong with your code? Is it any wonder that some of your best talents are jumping ship ATM? I'm not even pretending to be unbiased here; I have lived in Melbourne for most of my life and Aussie Rules is naturally my first choice. The NRL just seems to lurch from one disaster to another; with individual athletes, team franchises, and the governing body all pitching in to the whole cluster-fuck in equal proportions. I genuinely feel sorry for you guys that obviously love this game; it just looks more and more like some backwater trainwreck to the casual observer.
